1. Sh. R Swaminathan, Independent Director, BHEL visited EDN Bangalore unit for familiarization with operation of manufacturing unit from 13th to 16th September, 2019.
2. Sh. Ranjit Rae, Independent Director, BHEL visited HPBP Trichy unit for familiarization with operation of manufacturing unit & review of local CSR activities from 9th to 11th January, 2020.
3. As a part of familiarisation programmes for Independent Directors, presentations were made to independent directors S/Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Raj Kamal Bindal & Manish Kapoor on the following subjects :
• An overview of BHEL
• Overview of business sector viz., Power sector, Industry Sector and International Operations.
• Project Management
• Important statutory & regulatory provisions under Companies Act, 2013 and Listing (Obligation & Disclosure Requirements ) Regulations, 2015 with emphasis on provisions concerning Directors

The presentations were made on 16th March, 2020 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm(Six and a half hours).
