BHEL reaches out to flood victims in Bihar; Truck-load of clothes and food flagged off

Reaching out to the distressed victims in the flood-affected areas of Bihar, employees of BHEL have made a humble contribution of clothes and food to help alleviate their suffering.

A truck-load of clothes and food for the flood victims was flagged off by Sh. Anil Sachdev, Director (HR), BHEL, here today.

The relief material comprising clothes, flour, rice, milk powder, salt and drinking water will be delivered to DM (Madhepura), Bihar.

In addition to lighting the homes of people, BHEL is also helping in lighting the lives of people in distress. BHEL and its employees have always risen to the occasion and contributed towards rendering relief to victims of natural calamities like the tsunami-affected states, floods in Assam, earthquake in Gujarat, the super cyclone in Orissa and the drought in Gujarat and Rajashtan, in addition to the Kargil war.
